| This...might end up being a sentence or two but you can make damn sure it's an update.
It feels weird...updating Xanga for myself, not having to follow any rp rules.
I can just do whatever the hell I want, and I like it. What im really on Xanga for is I dont know where Helena is. Last thing I heard she was in Houston, so maybe when all this damn ice goes away i'll see her again, im pretty excited.
It's like...a whole week of nothing. I havent been to school since last friday, and even then it ended early, do you know how amazing this is? I mean...it's probably going to come back and bite me in the ass, but for now, let's not think so. Let's think that this will all work out and Spring Break wont be touched by the horrid people that run Union Public Schools.
Im going to buy a keyboard...I really want one. Like...really. Do I know how to play? No. But that's not really going to stop me. And I left my trumpet at school for the weekend...expecting to see it again Tuesday. No go. I miss my trumpet, im like 3 seconds away from playing my old one that's been in the garage for the last...year. But that also seems kind of nasty...it's been in it's case though.
Oh, and I made oatmeal! For the first time! Im proud.
Im really tired right now, and i've got basketball practice in less than an hour, you know what that means? It means I should be getting ready but im not.
Oh, and for all you Union kids, you better be at the Jenks game. Sure...it's at an ungodly hour..like...well...the JV game is at 10, not sure what time the varsity game is...I just kind of hang out until then, but yeah, you should come to the JV game because JV kicks as much ass as Varsity. Get a full day of basketball before the winter weather once again kills us.
I hate the ice. Ive been stuck in the house for a week! I was supposed to go partying last weekend, go to a club for the first time. But NO. The ice killed that. Im missing school! I want to go to school! I want to go to school!!!

Getting a massive headache: Lots of pain
Watching a streaker run into Greg's dad: Priceless
Yeah, we lost to Jenks, I got a headache and there was a streaker. One hell of a night I guess. Also, there was a sectional today. Where I had to hold up my trumpet forever. Im proud to say I did a hell of a lot better than Timmy, and that me and Austin kicked ass for the juniors.
I didnt put it down until they told me to at least, but I swear there was something crawling on my leg. It was disturbing and I didnt like it...at all. Plus people were staring at us. But oh well, I did it. And I finally have the second segment memorized. Wooh, only 2 more to go. And the third one looks hard, lucky for me I know the rhythm of it. Who doesnt know pinball wizard?
I've got the house to myself until 9 so Im going to blast music and try and clean my room. Or eat icecream. More likely it's going to be icecream.

The game last night was sad to say the least. It was of course fun hanging with the band though. First game of the season. All it means is their's alot more to come. I dont know about you, but i'm excited. I've got two more years. I'm going to make the most of them so I dont have anything to regret once I walk across the stage. But that's a long while away. Just a junior (loving it by the way)
The highschool's pretty big, lots of halls and stairways, I think I have it figured out. And the library...SUCKS. How many stephen king books? Like...6? The I-High Library had at least over 10 seeing as that's how many I read while I was there. And it's so small and crappy. The library was something i had been looking foward to. It's prettty sad as well.
Okay, so im probably going to hell for this part.
I was at church today, just sitting there, listening, regular church things. Then the pastor brings up the game. Okay, yay, game. (not really). He starts talking about how many people showed up for Hoover and how they all rode on buses, yay for school spirit. (really) Then he starts talking about the Hoover band, and im like "hey...i've met them..." but in my head. So then he starts talking about how they were there the whole time and how they played and inspired their crowd. Yay hoover band.
But then he starts talking about how the Union band left during the end of the second quarter and was gone almost all of third. Then he says "I realized later that they had to perform at halftime" I'm like...yes, yes we did. But he went on to say but we shouldnt have taken any breaks and that we should have continued cheering for the team and playing for the crowd.
So he was like...scolding the band for going to prepare for the halftime show. And...the way he said it pissed me the hell off. I was in church saying bad words in my head and glaring at the pastor. Isnt that horrible? I felt so bad. I still feel bad actually. But he made me so angry. OF COURSE WE HAD TO GO PREPARE. WE WERE THE HALFTIME SHOW. HOOVER PLAYED PREGAME. SO THEY COULD STAY THE WHOLE TIME. IF THEY HAD TO PERFORM AT HALFTIME THEY WOULD HAVE LEFT TOO!
Ugh. He made me very angry and from then on I couldnt focus on what else he was talking about. Bringing up the game and dissing the band's ethics or whatever put me in a horrible mood. akj;dhfg;kadjfkajsdf
But im in a better mood, because of this song and Rent.
This song rocks.
and I hope this makes up for me not updating in like...ever.
